He has widespread experience with a variety of ensembles including playing with Whitburn and cooperation Bands, orchestras, jazz ensembles, musical theatre ensembles and pop bands. In June 2020 Daniel became an official Istanbul Agop cymbal artist.

Since 2017 he has worked as an instrumental instructor for the South Lanarkshire Orchestral Society Junior and Intermediate bands and recently began working with South Lanarkshire Council as percussion tutor.

Excited

Speaking about the appointment he said: "I'm extremely excited to be appointed. As someone who grew up in brass bands, an organisation like this gives me so much joy and hope for the future generation of musicians and I'm so proud to be a part of it.

I'm already impressed with the current students' progress and I can't wait to see how far the academy and its students will go!"
