Saints, saddles and sparkles for Cory

The defending champion is putting final and first touches in place for their European Challenges.

Cory
The band has a busy weekend ahead.

The defending European Champion Cory has a busy weekend ahead as they look to retain its title under the baton of MD Philip Harper.

Saints

Not only have they been putting the final touches to their preparation of 'Saints Triumphant' and their own choice test piece selection, but they are also adding the final sprinkles of concert sparkle to their set for the Gala Concert on Sunday evening with Louis Dowdeswell.

All that and they are already planning for Malmo 2023 with Band President Morgan Jones leading a 150 mile bike ride from North Wales to Birmingham on the weekend to kickstart their fund raising campaign.

He stated: "Having the European contest on British soil again makes much less of a financial impact on the band, but with the qualification for Sweden in 2023 now confirmed, travel and accommodation costs will be their usual challenge next year.

We wanted to make an early start on the fundraising which has been very successful in the past."
