Banner connection maintained at Chapeltown

A wonderful family connection is maintained at Chapeltown Silver Band thanks to a very generous gesture and the work of musicwearetc

Chapeltown
The banner was produced by musicwearetc

Chapeltown Silver Prize Band has just taken the opportunity to invest in new stand banners supplied by musicwearetc

The stand banners were purchased by supporter Marjorie Wilkinson in memory of her late husband Neville who was a former player and committee member.

Wonderful way

It was a wonderful way for his memory to live on in a very practical way and maintain a family link that sees his son, Paul as Band Chairman, his wife, Julie as Vice President and back stage/front of house extraordinaire.

Their daughter Amy and her partner Chris also help at every opportunity.

Grateful

A spokesperson told 4BR: "The band are truly grateful for the long history with the Wilkinson family and look forward to many years of it to come."

Lloyd Shipp of musicwearetc added: "What a wonderful way to maintain the family link with the band — and what lovely people to deal with. That is the best part of this job — seeing people who care so much about the bands they are associated with."
