Presto, Allegro or Lento for Flowers stars...

Some were quicker than others but all the members of Flowers Band paced themselves brilliantly for a great charity recently...

Flowers
The members raised money for Cancer Research UK

17 members of the Flowers Band recently tested their lung power in a different way as they took part the Cancer Research UK 'Race for Life' in Gloucester.

Runners

Josie Allen, Luke Barker, Lauren Chinn, Huw Cole, Mark Cowley, Sean Doughty, Emily Evans, Dom Gardner, Georgina Henderson-Neale, Lara Jones, Jamie Nuss, Kelvin Retallack, Paul and Linda Richards, Ieuan Walton, Steph and Rob Wilshaw all took part in covering either 5k or 10k in distance.

Their fantastic efforts raised over £2800, far in excess of their initial target, with their fund raising page still open to anyone who wishes to add to the total.

Amazing effort

Talking about the experience on the band's Facebook page they said: "Congratulations to all of our 5K and 10K runners today, it was as amazing effort by all!

It was great to see so many people coming together and enjoying the Gloucester Race for Life today for such an amazing cause."
