A little bit of Fitba frenzy for Scottish Youth Champs

There will be some great music to play at this year's Scottish Festival of Brass Youth Championships...

fOTBALL
  Alan Fernie's great 'Football Frenzy' will be played by the bands in the Novice Section

Entry forms and information for the 2023 Scottish Festival of Brass Youth Championships are now available.

The event is open to all brass and percussion youth bands in Scotland, and will take place at Perth Concert Hall on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday 25th & 26th November.

Bands in the Novice, Intermediate and Development Section will play programmes of own-choice music not exceeding 15 minutes duration (Novice and Intermediate) which must also include a set-work.

Football Frenzy

For the Novice Section that will be 'Football Frenzy' from the Fun Factory Junior Brass Series by Alan Fernie.

Intermediate Section bands will perform 'The Chase' from Games for Brass Band by Bruce Fraser, whilst the Development Section entrants will play 'Summer Samba' by Bruce Fraser.

Premier Section bands can play a programme of own-choice music not exceeding 20 minutes playing time.

For the Novice Section that will be 'Football Frenzy' from the Fun Factory Junior Brass Series by Alan Fernie4BR

Alder Valley Brass

June 19 • Bb bass player. We are an ambitious, busy and sociable 2nd section band (L&SC, National finalists 2023) with a varied blend of engagements, concerts and contests. We rehearse 8-10pm Mondays and Thursdays in Farnham, Surrey. Other enquiries welcome.


Chinnor Silver
