Laganvale Metal Technology Band has announced the appointment of Jonathan Sproule as their new solo euphonium.

The vastly experienced musician has performed extensively as a soloist and ensemble player, touring internationally and working with a variety of top bands.

Originally from Northern Ireland, he began playing with Oldpark Band before moving to 55th Old Boys Band. He has also played with Staines Brass.

Guards

Having studied under Patrick Harrild, he was awarded the Besson 'Best Brass Award' from the Royal Military School of Music. He sent on to become solo euphonium with the Band of the Welsh Guards before moving back to Northern Ireland in 2018 where he also played with the Band of the Royal Irish Regiment.

The LefreQue Artist, was recently invited to perform as an artist at the NAMM Show in Los Angeles and has completed a 10-day solo tour of Germany and Austria, appearing as a guest soloist with various bands.
