Getzen Ireland Ltd has told 4BR that they have acquired a limited quantity of the acclaimed Getzen 3850 Custom Series Bb Cornets in silverplate.

A spokesperson said: "These instruments are renowned for having amazing craftsmanship, all USA made with a superb lifetime warranty on mechanical issues on valves. The 3850S Custom Series Bb Cornet is in the traditional British style (similar in look to other leading brass band brands).
The 3850 Bb features many of the same great features found on all Custom Series trumpets. This includes nickel silver balusters, yellow brass inside slide tubes, and of course, our legendary nickel plated, nickel silver pistons.
The 3850 also comes standard with a sheet and sheet copper bell. This combination of features gives the 3850 its trademark, traditional cornet sound and makes it perfect for brass band settings."
