Spring Festival line-ups confirmed

60 bands will look to take one step closer to the British Open this weekend in Blackpool.

  The 103rd Spring Festival will take place at Blackpool's Winter Gardens

The line-up of bands that will compete at the 103rd British Open Spring Festival have been confirmed.

The event takes place at Blackpool's Winter Gardens on Saturday 10th May and will feature 20 contenders in each of its Grand Shield, Senior Trophy and Senior Cup competitions.

The top two bands in the Grand Shield will be invited to compete at the 2025 British Open Championship to be held at Symphony Hall in Birmingham on Saturday 6th September.

Results

The announcement of results will be made in the Opera House at the conclusion of the Grand Shield unless otherwise notified.

The event will be adjudicated by a team comprising, Lt Col David Barringer; Morgan Griffiths; Alan Morrison; Lt Col Lauren Petritz-Watts; Andrea Price and Helen Varley. Details of which section they will judge will be announced in the official programme on the day.

Tickets for the day can be purchased at the Foyer inside the Main Entrance on Church Street from 9.00am.

On the contest day 4BR will provide the full draws as provided by the contest organisers and the full results as soon as they are officially announced. There will be no live band by band coverage.
