Hammonds to round off Leeds Best of Brass series

The Yorkshire band will bring to a close the popular series of brass band concerts in Pudsey on 24th May.

Hammonds Band led by Morgan Griffiths (above) will bring to an end the popular 2024/25 Leeds Best of Brass series of concerts at Pudsey Civic Hall on Saturday 24th May (7.30pm).

Appreciative audiences

This year's series has seen performances from Carlton Main Frickley Colliery, EverReady, Black Dyke Band, Grimethorpe Colliery, Brighouse & Rastrick, Rothwell Temperance and Leyland Bands at either Morley or Pudsey, which have been enjoyed by large, appreciative audiences.

Hammonds will bring their brand of entertainment to Pudsey that will include works by Ravel to Andrew Lloyd Webber, Strauss to Sparke and much, much more.

It will also see the band perform 'Kenilworth' by Sir Arthur Bliss, whilst their impressive array of soloists will include Kirsty Abbotts (cornet), Anabel Voigt (horn), Alan Morrison (soprano), Andrew Yorkstone (trombone) and Daniel Holm (euphonium).
