The recent An All Star Brass Band concert organised by well known baritone player Keith Muggeridge recently raised over £2,600 for the North West Air Ambulance Charity.
Incredible work
Led by conductor Mark Peacock with players from many leading bands, it took place at St George's Parish Church in Tyldesley with a representative from the charity giving an overview of the incredible work that they undertake, and which helped save Keith's life following a serious accident a decade ago.
Appropriate encore
The audience enjoyed works from Rodney Newton, Shostakovich, Goff Richards and more as well as solos from Andy Macdonald, Daniel Hohm, Luke Giri-Spence, John Squire-Evans. The encore was the very appropriate 'Those Magnificent Men (and women) in their Flying Machines'.
