Downshire fitness regime from Couch to Concert

If you want to get yourself fit to enjoy playing then Downshire Brass is leading a 12 week fun regime...

Downshire
Downshire Brass are leading the 12 week fun packed scheme

Downshire Brass recently launched its own musical 'Couch to Concert' fitness programme — a fun, 12-week journey designed just for adult beginner brass players.

Playing fitness

It is aimed to help adults back to a level of playing fitness — so whether you once played in a school band, sang in a choir, or just love music, it offers a chance to pick up an instrument and rediscover the joy of making music in a friendly brass band setting.

There will be weekly in-person rehearsals, supportive online learning materials and access to an instrument to all help encourage new friendships and to open a new chapter of musical enjoyment in your life.

Over 21

Anyone over 21 who's ready to get music back into their life even if they have no brass experience at all, can be part of the fun.

It takes place every Wednesday evening (7.00-8.30pm) starting in September.
