Former Wantage Band and Royal Academy of Music graduate Kris T Reeder has made a welcome return to brass banding by joining City of Oxford Silver Band on Bass Trombone.
He told 4BR: "The band is one of the oldest in the country and it's great to be back after almost 20 years away."
Welcome back
In welcoming Kris back to the ranks, MD Douglas Brown said: "Kris joins at a time when we are enjoying a great period of rejuvenation — most recently in coming fifth at the Fourth Section National Final at Cheltenham.
We are a welcoming and ambitious band and are delighted to be able to attract experienced, high-calibre players such as Kris to continue our momentum into future contests."
