Cambrian Brass, a new banding ensemble that is hoping to makes its debut appearance at the Welsh Regional Championships in Swansea next year, is set to host a workshop day in its home town of Aberystwyth.
It will be open to brass players of all ages and abilities for a fun, friendly and inclusive event on Saturday 31st January, led by special guest tutors Cerys Hughes, the flugel player of Welsh Champion, Tredegar, and Rob Nicholson, the BBb Tuba of Cory.
The workshop will take place at Aberystwyth Town Football Club (SY23 1PG) from 12.30pm to 5.00pm and is open to upper and lower brass players alike, whether you are an experienced player, returning to playing, or developing new skills.
Confidence building
A spokesperson told 4BR: "This workshop is designed to be welcoming and confidence-building for all who take part. We want the players to return to their bands enthused and inspired or just renewed in their love for banding."
