Composer Wendy Nevard is a gifted amateur musician and lyricist from Kent and has worked alongside the likes of acclaimed musicians Cy Payne and Lt Col Geoff Kingston.
The Colours Fly
Cy assisted her in writing 'The Colours Fly', which was first completed as an orchestral composition in 2011 and produced here with scoring flair of Geoff Kingston for brass band.
This upbeat march is aimed at bands from Fourth Section level upwards and is a perfect example of Wendy's melodic, tonal writing, full of colour and expression as well as rhythmic vitality and character, all played a steady swagger pace.
