Rothwell to showcase Pudsey talents

Rothwell Temperance make their appearance at the Leeds 'Best of Brass' series in Pudsey later this month.

  The Leeds Best of Brass series continues with Rothwell Temperance

Rothwell Temperance Band will head to Pudsey Civic Hall on Saturday 18th April (7.30pm) to perform as part of the annual Leeds 'Best of Brass' series of concerts.

Under the direction of David Roberts who this year celebrates 30 years at the helm, the Yorkshire band will showcase its brand of entertainment with music from Bearcroft to Zequinha de Abreu and all stops in between.

Spotlights

It will also see them spotlight their team of acclaimed soloists with features for Louie Anderson, Marie Beezer, Paul Woodward, Della Pearce, Danny Riley, Helen Lyon, Simon Moffat and Matthew Reasbeck — and not forgetting their percussion team too.

The final concert of the series will be undertaken by Brighouse & Rastrick Band on Saturday 9th May.
