Film project funding available through BBE

A trio of film funding opportunities are available through Brass Bands England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

There are three strands of film funding available

As part of a wider project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Brass Bands England (BBE) has announced three filming and editing projects.

These are focused on showcasing and sharing BBE's ongoing Diverse Voices Oral History and Exhibition project, and national Brass Band Week Campaign.

https://www.bbe.org.uk/bbw

Bands can submit for all three opportunities, or the ones which best fit appropriate skills and experience in the following:

Diverse Voices / Filming and Editing
Diverse Voices / Audio Editing
Brass Band Week / Video Editing

There is a limited timeframe for delivery over the next few months, and it is unlikely that BBE will be able to offer all three opportunities to any one individual or company.

Fantastic opportunity

Heritage Programme Manager Sue Pope commented: "This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to shape how the general public sees brass banding! The content we are looking to produce will get wide coverage, and we are looking to showcase the diversity and passion of brass banders across the country."

More details

Details of each brief can be found on the BBE website, please contact the relevant listed contact directly for more information or an informal discussion about each brief.

Deadline for submission for all opportunities is Friday 15th May.
