Manger Musikklag has confirmed that conductor Kjetil Djonne has become the band's permanent conductor.

He will lead the band at the Siddis Championships as well as several forthcoming major events, including their Gala Concert appearance at the Swedish Championships in November.

It was also confirmed that Prof David King will return to direct the band at the National Championships in Bergen next year, with the band stating that they were looking forward to working with a conductor who has "a completely unique ability to bring out the best in the team."
