Nicki Tonge and Adam Goldsmith have told 4BR that they have been overwhelmed by messages of support and best wishes since becoming the new owners of World of Sound, World of Brass and wobplay.
"It's been a very busy time of late as you can imagine, but the support has been incredible," they said.
"Our thanks go to everyone who has been in touch. Every subscriber is hugely valued by us, and we're very grateful for their continued support.
We're passionate about brass band music and really excited to take these platforms into their next chapter. Some of you will know us personally, and some won't but we've both been involved with World of Brass and wobplay since their early days, helping to build and grow these amazing brands behind the scenes."
Future
As for the immediate future, Nicki and Adam explained things remain very much as they have done.
"Nothing changes. The subscription, payments and terms and conditions all remain exactly the same. There will be a short transition period while everything is transferred to the new company.
There will be some gradual behind-the-scenes improvements as we work to build on wobplay's high standards and enhance the overall experience, and we are already planning new projects, recordings, exclusive live streams and fresh content which we can't wait to share with everyone around the brass band world."
Thanks
They added: "Thank you for being part of the wobplay family, and please help us grow it by encouraging friends and band colleagues to join. These are exciting times for wobplay and the wider brass band community. We look forward to sharing the journey with you."
