Maisie — the globetrotting trombone virtuoso

The remarkable musical life of the great Maisie Ringham-Wiggins is recalled in a book written by her son.

Maisie
The book is available in paperback or Kindle format

A new book about the life and career of the trombone player Maisie Ringham-Wiggins MBE is now available through Amazon in either paper-back or Kindle format.

Described by Dudley Bright, the former LSO Principal Trombone player as "a remarkable lady trombonist in a man's world", it has been written by her son, Karl.

He says that 'Maisie — Globetrotting Virtuoso of the Trombone' tells "the story of how a young girl from a humble Salvation Army background fought sexual discrimination to fulfil her dream, going on to forge a successful career against all the odds."
