57 Bands set for Yorkshire

There will be a very healthy turnout of bands this year at Bradford as 57 bands enter Yorkshire Regional Championship.

All entries for the Yorkshire Championships have now been received and the organisers can reveal that 57 bands will be competing over the course of the weekend of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of March.

New Entrant

This year sections 3 and 4 compete on the Saturday with a total of twenty bands featured throughout the day. The organisers are particularly pleased to welcome Deepcar Band to the 4th Section as a new entrant.

Sunday

During the Sunday of the Championships audiences will be treated to the remaining three sections. The 1st Section has a record 14 entrants tackling Gilbert Vinter's 'James Cook — Circumnavigator' while the Championship Section will feature 12 bands bidding to represent Yorkshire at the Royal Albert Hall.
