Change of judge for ENBBC

David Horsfield drops out from Preston as David Read takes over.

The organisers of the English National Brass Band Championships (ENBBC) have announced a change of adjudicator for the forthcoming contest which takes place at Preston’s Guild Hall on Saturday 28th June.

Excused

David Horsfield has informed the organisers that due to business pressure he wished to be excused from the adjudication panel. He apologised but wished the contest every success. David Read has agreed to take his place.

The adjudicators are: Nigel Boddice, David Read and Chris Wormald.

The winners will be invited to represent England at the 2009 European Brass Band Championships to be held in Ostende, Belgium (22nd April — 3rd May).

All day tickets will be £15, OAP’s and under 16’s £10. Tickets are available directly from the Guild Hall box office.
