Television celebrity, model and brass band fan Melanie Sykes took time out of her busy schedule to enjoy the bands at Preston.

One of the great delights of the English Nationals on Saturday wasn’t the chance to listen to some of the best bands in the land play Robert Redhead’s test piece’ Infinity’, but for 4BR to meet the television presenter and model.

Melanie is a true brass band supporter and after hosting the Gala Concert at the inaugural English Nationals in 2006 she has continued to attend major brass band contests whenever she can.

This time she took time out to listen to all the competing bands as well as talk to a blushing 4BR Editor Iwan Fox4BR
