The name of the Flowers Band will be making a return to the British Open next weekend following the news that the PolySteel Band has reverted back to its former name.

Open name

A spokesperson for the British Open confirmed to 4BR that the Flowers name will appear in the official programme at the contest, whilst Flowers Band Manager Mike James also confirmed the news to 4BR.

An official announcement will be made in the next few days, but following a beneficial period of sponsorship, the band has returned to its former nameBand Manager, Mike James

Mike also confirmed that the band will be sporting a new soprano player at the contest too, with the former Parc & Dare player Paul Eddy replacing Spencr O'Leary.
