Jonathan Corry for Enfield

The talented musician, conductor and player joins the ranks of Enfield Citadel Band.

Jonathan Corry has joined Enfield Citadel Band following a move to north London from his home city of Belfast to take up a teaching post with the London Borough of Brent.

He transfers to Enfield from Belfast Temple where he was deputy bandmaster.

Leading bands

Jonathan studied trumpet at the Royal Northern College of Music followed by a post graduate degree in conducting. He has worked with many of the country's leading bands as a player and conductor, including Black Dyke, Brighouse and Rastrick and Besses o' th' Barn, and has performed with the Ulster Orchestra.

Jonathan has joined the solo cornet section at Enfield but will also be conducting the band in rehearsal and in special events, including the prestigious Pre-Contest Festival on 10th October4BR
