There have been a few ins and outs at Longridge recently, with the band saying farewell to Nick Jolly on 2nd cornet.

Nick has left the band to start a PGCE music course in Hertfordshire and the band wish him the best of luck.

Positive note

On a positive note, Longridge welcome another new signing with the signing of John Innes on 2nd baritone.

John previously played cornet until finding his keen interest in euphonium which has now led him to move onto baritone. John was solo euphonium for Morecambe Brass Band until he was offered a position at Longridge.

John’s first appearance with the band will be at a small concert in Longridge followed by his first contest with the band at Fleetwood.
