There is still time for interested quartets to enter the British Trombone Society's conrtestat Salford University.

4BR has been informed that thre is still time to enter the BTS Trombone Quartet Contest to be held at Salford University on the 9th December.

Extra week

After receiving a pleasing quota of interests from quartets around the country, organisers are giving ensembles a further week to show their interest in the contest.

The day will include the quartet contest and a masterclass given by leading trombonists based in the North WestOrgaisers

Full day

The day will start at 11.00am in the Peel Hall campus of Salford University and will end at 3.00pm. The day will include the quartet contest and a masterclass given by leading trombonists based in the North West.

Deadline

The deadline for applications is Friday 7th November.

There will also be an opportunity to be an audience member at the competition and masterclass. Tickets to the even are £10 for BTS members. There will be a small increment on ticket prices to non-BTS members.
