Stockholm Brass takes Swedish title.

Stockholm Brass Band, conducted by Kent Jonsson has won the 26th Swedish Brass Band Festival Contest.

Victory

Their performances of the set work, 'Swedish Festival Music' by Kenneth Downie and their own choice 'Year of the Dragon' by Philip Sparke was enough to give them victory over Wincorp Brass conducted by Andres Kratz, who chose 'Vienna Nights' as their own chocie selection.

Judges

The adjudicators for the Elite Section of the contest were Torgny Hansson, David King and Nicholas Childs, Kenneth Downie and Steve Sykes.

Third place was taken by Solna Brass conducted by Bram Gay, who chose 'Epic Symphony' as their own choice selection.
