European champions Cory will be holding their usual open pre-contest rehearsal on Friday, 14th November, at Tonyrefail Comprehensive School, Gilfach Road, Tonyrefail at 7.30pm.

New items

It will be chance to hear the band before they head off to Gateshead with their six brand new concert items being premiered.

Conductor Bob Childs is excited with the way the band is playing and that he has had a little bit of help preparing for the contest: "Barry Forgie, the BBC Big Band Leader has taken a few rehearsals for me and he's been an inspiration."

Entrance is free, but seats are limited.
