Following on from the success of the inaugural VBL Showcase event last year, the Victorian governing body once again is set to feature the success stories of the year, as well as recognise and award 2008 achievements.
Special guest artist will be cornet virtuoso and conductor, Russell Gray.
Other artists include Footscray Yarraville City Band, the Victorian State Youth Brass Band, the Eltham Concert Band, MoJo — Mordialloc Jazz Orchestra, and 2008 solo champions Matthew van Emmerik and Lauren Whitehead.
The VBL Showcase 2008 will be held 2pm Sunday 30 November, at Melba Hall, Melbourne University, Parksville.
