The Scottish Co-op Band has announced that Bill Renny has from 1st December, assumed responsibility for player registration matters and the band inventory of instruments and equipment.

Specific capacities

Bill Renny was the band's bass trombonist from 1974 until 1990 and was band secretary from 1985 until 1990.

Rob McCorkell told 4BR: "His return to the band in these specific administrative capacities is very welcome and will relieve playing members of tasks which can be time-consuming and allow them to concentrate more fully on playing."
