SABBA Development Officer tells 4BR that he feels Scotland leads the youth way after a weekend of banding enjoyment at Perth Concert Hall.

Scottish Brass Band Association Development Officer Alan Edmond has told 4BR that hard work and forward thinking is starting to pay real dividends for the Scottish banding movement – as 21 youth bands in stage at Perth showed.

A vibrant and highly successful weekend of music making in Perth was rounded off with a host of performances to enjoy, whilst there is further good news for the future with funding in place from the Scottish Arts Council.
