Butlins open the visitors door

Butlins announce cheap day visitor tickets to the 2009 Championships in just a few weeks time.

4BR have been informed that the Butlins’ Management in conjunction with the contest organisers have decided to introduce day visitor tickets on Sunday, 18th January to enable youth band families and supporters to gain access to the Skyline Resort to support the competing bands.

These day passes will allow access to the resort from 9.00am until 6.00pm, and will cost – adults £5.00 (£3.00 for children aged 14 and under), and may be purchased by calling Butlins Resort on 01754 762311

Reminder

Guests wishing to purchase day tickets are reminded that whilst these tickets allow access to all the resort facilities and attractions, they do not allow admission to the Championship Entertainment Contest in Centre Stage.

Regrettably, due to venue capacity, admission to the Championship Entertainment Contest will be restricted to resident guests only.

Prices for the three night break which includes bed linen, electricity, parking, resort facilities and entertainment start from just £48.00 based on 4 sharing a standard self-catering apartment.

Wantage Silver Band

August 18 • Putney and Wimbledon Band are looking for a percussionist, ideally tune although the ability to play an anvil is an absolute must! We play exciting music with lots of percussion so there's plenty to keep you occupied.
