Woodfalls open up for Butlins

West of England challengers open the doors ahead of their Butlins assault.

South West Trains Woodfalls Band will be holding an open rehearsal of their Butlins contest programme on Wednesday 14th January in the Performance Studio of the Trafalgar School, Breamore Road, Downton.

Harrison's Dream

Supporters are invited to join the band and professional MD Dr. Nicholas Childs as they tackle their repertoire for the two-day contest, including Peter Graham’s 'Harrison’s Dream' and a variety of other pieces that will be performed in their entertainment programme.

Bandmaster Paul Williams told 4BR: "Butlins is the highlight in every band’s contesting calendar and we look forward to attending once again. We have a few surprises in store for the audience – but they will only be revealed at the open rehearsal and the contest stage."

The rehearsal starts at 8.00pm. Entry is free of charge but supporters are advised to arrive early as seating is limited.
