Verwood Concert Brass is currently attracting new players with their new Second Section Status.

First back

First back is Steve Rowland who rejoins the band from Bournemouth Concert Brass. Steve first played for Verwood in 1974 on principal cornet under John Grinnel as MD.

He later moved on to Poole Borough and then on to Bournemouth Concert Brass where he notched 20 years of service during 2 spells with the band.

Steve's registration with VCB will be completed after his final commitment with Bournemouth Concert Brass has beened fulfilled at the Yeovil Entertainment contest.

Bass addition

Verwood have also attracted the services of bass player Andrew Wood. Andrew helped the band out at the Leicester Contest in November and has transferred from Denmead Brass.
