The Fourth Section starts at 10.00am at Blackpool

4BR has been informed that the correct starting time for the Fourth Section Contest at the Opera House in the Winter Gardens on Sunday is 10.00am not 11.00am as reported on the 4BR site.

The split draw times of 9.00am and 11.15am are correct.

Late losses

4BR has also been informed that the Diggle Band in the First Section and the St John's Mossley Band and Barnton in the Fourth have withdrawn.

This takes the number of bands at the contest down to 75 and the overall number of competing bands at this year's Regional Championships down to 490.
