Having just returned from adjudicating at the Grenland International Brass Festival in Norway, Philip Sparke will be travelling to Japan to conduct a school wind band in Fukuoka.

Quick break

After a quick break he will then direct Vivid Brass Tokyo in a concert of his own music, which will include performances of his 'Concerto Grosso', 'Music for a Festival', 'Harlequin', 'Fiesta de la Vida' and the Japanese premiere of 'Music for Battle Creek'.

USA

Later in May he will travel to Green Hope High School in Cary, North Carolina, to conduct the premiere of HIS 'Neapolitan Holiday', which the school has recently commissioned from him.
