Promotion beckons for Pendennis

Pendennis Brass has something to look forward to in 2010 — promotion to the Second Section.

Falmouth based Pendennis Brass has recently received confirmation that from January 1st 2010 they will be competing in the Second Section in the West of England.

Busy

It has been a busy few months for the band with MD, Steve Thomas arranging a masterclass with Ray Farr in February and then guiding the band to 4th place at the Regional contest in Torquay.

This is the band's second promotion in three years and they now look forward to a busy summer which begins with a first-ever visit to the Whit-Friday Marches in JunePendennis Brass

Raising funds

Raising funds for the trip include a sponsored bike ride where most players will cycle between venues where a short concert will be played.
