Victory to Kirkintilloch Kelvin in Forfar.

The Northern Counties Band Contest was held at Reid Hall, Forfar last weekend, where Kirkintilloch Kelvin, conducted by Charles Keenan took the honours.

Their clear two point winning margin saw them claim the first prize ahead of Newtongrange Silver conducted by Tony Swainson and Bon Accord Silver in third.
