Closing date looms for Leicestershire BBA Open

4BR has been informed that the closing date for entries for the 2018 Leicestershire Brass Band Association's 'Open' competition is fast approaching.

The event takes place at Loughborough Endowed Schools and offers six competing sections from Championship through to Unregistered on Sunday 18th November.

Closing date

The adjudication panel this year is Alan Morrison, John Roberts, Steve Pritchard-Jones and Benjamin Richeton. In addition, the top three sections will also have trainee adjudicators sitting with their respective judges in the box.

The closing date for entries is Friday 21st September 2018.

Social media guru

The LBBA are also seeking, in addition to the trainee adjudicator positions above, applications of interest from any young brass band enthusiasts (under the age of 25) who feel they have a keen adjudicating ear to take part in an official live twitter commentary throughout the event in each of the halls.
