Harper to inspire artistic development in North West

Europe's top conductor will help North West bands successfully explore their artistic development in the latest Brass Bands England presentation day at Pemberton — so make sure you get along for a fiver.

Cory
Philip Harper will be exploring once again in Pemberton — so make sure you get along and find out more

This weekend Brass Bands England (BBE) will bring their successful Artistic Development programme to the North West, when Cory MD Philip Harper leads his acclaimed presentation day at Pemberton Bandroom (Saturday 11th May: 10.00am).

Great opportunity

Fresh from his success in leading his band to European title glory in Montreux, and with BBE celebrating the news that they will be working towards hosting the European Championships in England in 2024, it will be a great opportunity for representatives, organizations and individuals to find out more about how to create, develop and employ a successful artistic formula.

Supported by Arts Council England, it only costs a fiver too!

Artistic reach

There are excellent facilities at the Pemberton Band Room venue , with the day exploring the wider context of artistic development in brass banding and how to use its elements to help advance the profile of your band.

After lunch the Pemberton Band will join Philip to look at the practical side of rehearsals along with examples highlighting how to maximise your band's artistic reach.

If your band is a member of BBE you will save £10 from the cost of entry but tickets do need to be bought in advance at https://www.bbe.org.uk/events so don't miss out and sign up now.
