Besses

Besses O’ th’ Barn has announced that they have parted ways with conductor Carl Whiteoak.

Gratitude

The band have expressed their gratitude to Carl for his commitment, talent, musicality and the huge efforts he has made to move the band forward.

In his time with the band, Carl has increased band morale, swelled player numbers and enabled the band to regularly contest, with improving results. Concerts have been well attended and very well received by audiences across the North West.

While we are saddened to lose Carl as our MD we can take heart that under his direction the band has made massive progressMatthew Bailey, Besses

Take heart

Band Chair Matthew Bailey told 4BR: "While we are saddened to lose Carl as our MD we can take heart that under his direction the band has made massive progress, and for this we can only say a big ‘Thank you’. We wish Carl all the best with his future endeavours."
