The recording companies continue to produce really first-class material.

Two new offerings, from Doyen and SP&S respectively, are 'Torchbearers', with all the action from the 2009 National Championships and 'The Peter Graham Collection', a double CD of major works by Peter Graham.

The latter receives its first airing on 'Time for Brass' this week with lots more in the weeks to come.

On Monday February 8th 'Time for Brass' will be a request programme.

So far requests have come in from Kalgoorlie, New Jersey, Northumberland and, oh yes, Port Erin, Isle of Man.
