These are held four times a year in Portsmouth. You can also arrange for your school, college or organisation to receive a highly informative and enjoyable presentation on what it’s like to be part of the RMBS and the unrivalled creative opportunities to be enjoyed.

Unique fully-funded degree – and salary

The RMBS offers a unique fully-funded BMus (Hons) degree. This strongly vocational degree has gained a reputation for its ability to bring a wide range of musical talent to the world stage.

While studying for this highly respected civilian qualification you will be paid a full salary.

September 14 • Audley Brass (First Section National Finalists 2025) are seeking a first class PRINCIPAL EUPHONIUM. We have some very exciting events coming up including 5 epic beer festival nights and Wychavon Festival of Brass entertainment contest.
