New faces at Flixton

Flixton gain a number of new signings ahead of their regional challenge.

Flixton Band, currently working hard towards the forthcoming North West area contest, have recently welcomed some new faces into their ranks.

Returning

Mona Byskov-Hylgaard has returned to the band on solo horn, following a period of maternity leave. Also returning are Andrew Tyson on solo euphonium, Tom Hylgaard on front row cornet and Andrew Myers and Paul Goddard to the bass section.

I am delighted with the latest additions to the band. These are important signings, which I am sure will help the band progress to its next level of developmentMD, Steve Curtis

New arrivals

New arrivals include Scott Lloyd on solo Eb bass, David Maplestone on soprano cornet and Emily McDaid on back row cornet. Dave Insua Cao, and Mike Gilborne both join on percussion.
