The Prairie Brass Band is proud to announce that the "Prairie Brassperson of the Year" award has been presented to Ty Heuer.

The award, known as the "PBOY", is presented to the band member who has displayed not only exemplary musicianship, attitude and attendance but has contributed to the band with outstanding service and devotion. For many years Ty has lent his consider talent and support to the band and the US Open Brass Band Championships. Ty has served on the Board of Directors and continues to volunteer and lend a hand whenever needed.

Band President Clark Niermeyer joins the entire band in offering thanks and congratulations to this year's PBOY recipient, Ty.
