Still a few places left at Butlins

If you fancy a chance of some big prize money at Butlins then there is still time to get your entry in.

Butlins

Despite the official closing date for entries for the 2011 Butlins Mineworkers Championship having passed, 4BR has been informed that contest organiser Brian Eggleshaw can still fit in a few bands into some of the sections.

Fit you in

Brian told 4BR: "After the Harrogate finals a number of bands have asked whether it is too late to enter the contest. We will always try and help out, so if there are any bands interested in taking part in the Second, Third and Fourth Sections, we can still fit you in."

Excellent response

Brian also confirmed that the response to the 2011 event has been excellent and that the Butlins Mineworkers Festival continues to grow. "The responses from bands has been amazing. We are managing to cope with the demand, but it shows just how important the Butlins contest has become."
