Butlins announce 2013 test pieces

The set works for the 2013 Butlins Mineworkers Championship have been announced.

The five set works chosen for the 2013 Butlins Mineworkers Championship to be held at the Skegness Resort have been announced.

The Festival will be held on the weekend of the 18th — 21st January 2013.

Championship Section: A Tale as yet Untold (Philip Sparke), published by Studio Music

First Section: 'Ad Undas' — 'to the waves' (Gareth Churcher), published by Kirklees Music

Second Section: In Memorium (Neville Buxton), published by Pennine Music

Third Section: A Gallimaufry Suite (Philip Harper), published by Wright & Round

Fourth Section: A Saddleworth Festival Overture (Goff Richards), published by Studio Music
