Although James has been composing brass band music for quite some time, he also been producing electronic dance music since the Mid-90's.

His latest project is competing in the Beyonce remix contest, remixing her hot tune, 'End of Time'.

He needs your votes to help him win the top prize as only the top 50 most voted for mixes will be eligible to in with a chance of winning.

James told 4BR: "I normally keep my brass band stuff separate from my work as a music producer but this time I really need the help of the brass band community to help support one of their own in this highly competitive field."
