Nothing for Granted at Thoresby

Midland challenger welcomes the man who they hope will lead them to Bedworth success.

Thoresby

Thoresby Band has announced that Brian Grant will be taking the band to the forthcoming Midlands Regional Championship in Bedworth on March 11th.

Devil

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Preparations are well underway on the test piece 'The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea' and the band is looking to improve on last year's second place to earn a second trip to the Albert Hall."

Brian no stranger to Thoresby, having held the post of principal cornet in 1991 and conducting the band in 2005 for a series of engagements.

Thoresby is working exceptionally hard and I'm extremely happy with the progress they are making. With a week to go I'm looking forward to appearing on the contest stageBrian Grant
