Excellent turn out for Weston contest

The Weston Super Mare contest has attracted a fine field of entrants.

 

The popular Weston Super Mare own choice contest has attracted a fine field of contenders.

The 44th contest will take place at the Winter Gardens on Sunday 20th May, starting at 10.00am and promises to be a full day of high quality brass band entertainment, with 34 bands in the four sections.

Excellent line up

Contest Administrator, John Woods told 4BR: "This is an excellent line-up across all sections with entries from Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire, as well as South Wales, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and Leicestershire.”
